Here in NIK, we believe that reading is one of the most important ingredients to becoming all that you can be. So even in our online learning, we made sure that our first activity is the “I Love Reading” program. We have well-planned and age-appropriate asynchronous activities for the students all throughout August that aim to instill the love for reading. Some activities are sharing their favourite books or stories, listening to the stories told by their parents, playing interactive games on the Reading Eggs website, and more. We concluded this program with the activity “Favourite Character Day” wherein the students and the teachers wore the costumes of their favourite characters from the books or movies. Indeed, it is a month full of learning and fun!
